This year’s festival will again feature “The Best of South Boston.” Merchants, restaurants, service providers, artists and community organizations will fill the festival area from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Live musical acts and performances will take place throughout the day on two stages providing festival-goers with a fun filled day for the entire family.
Participating establishments that are located within the festival area will operate in front of their business establishments. South Boston based businesses and organizations that are outside of the festival area should submit applications as soon as possible. Due to insurance liability issues and the City of Boston street occupancy permits and requirements, only businesses or organizations that have submitted applications and paid the appropriate fees will be allowed to participate.
Please note that East Broadway between I and L Streets will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC and there will be NO PARKING within the festival area from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM on the day of the festival.
We are also seeking sponsors for this event and ask interested businesses to contact Karen Stanley at Vibrant Events at 617-990-7062 for more information. Sponsors will be recognized on various marketing and advertising materials.
To participate, please read the booth rules and complete and return the vendor application (see below) as soon as possible but before Friday, August 7th, with a check made payable to The South Boston Chamber of Commerce.
