Elected officials visit Patriot Homes

On Friday, Feb. 21, South Boston NDC and residents of Patriot Homes Veterans Housing welcomed Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn, State Rep. David Biele and State Sen. Nick Collins for an open conversation about the unique issues and challenges that veterans face. 

Residents talked about the lack of convenient transportation to VA offices, and confusion about how to sign up for and access the various levels of benefits available to U.S. Armed Forces Veterans. We are grateful for this discussion, and look forward to continuing the conversation with our elected officials.
