Let Your Voices Be Heard on St. Vinny’s site

Let your voices be heard!

BPDA held a virtual public meeting recently on the proposed building at 363 E Street (the former rectory building of St. Vincent de Paul Church). This site is not the church building; it is the site across the street from the church. The church site will have its own public meeting.

The proposal calls for a four-story building with 24 rental units. Of those, three units would be set aside for affordable housing, or the city's minimum of 13 percent.

Donna Brown, executive director of South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation, and a representative for City Councilor Ed Flynn told the meeting they would like to see more affordable units in this development.

Please help us to advocate for more affordable housing in South Boston. Send your comments by Oct. 15 to BPDA at this link: http://www.bostonplans.org/.../development.../363-e-street

Scroll down the page until you get to the "Submit Your Comments" section.

Thank you!
