Responding to COVID-19
The South Boston NDC team is continuing our mission-driven work in spite of the challenges presented by COVID-19. We will update this page as we continue to adjust to our new normal.
How to Reach Us
Our office is open by appointment only until further notice and staff are working remotely as much as possible.
Our office phones are being monitored regularly, please call us at 617-268-9610 to speak with someone or leave a message.
Email info@sbndc.org for general inquiries or to be directed to the appropriate team member.
Support for Business Owners
The South Boston Chamber of Commerce sends regular email updates with resources and information for business owners. You do not have to be a Chamber member to receive the emails. Click here to sign up! You can unsubscribe anytime.
Check out the Resources For Businesses page compiled by the Chamber.
Housing Help
There is currently a moratorium on non-essential evictions for tenants who cannot pay rent due to a COVID-19 related hardship. If you are unable to pay your rent due to COVID-19, you cannot be evicted during the State of Emergency.
However, if you are currently unable to pay rent or if you are concerned that you will not be able to keep paying rent, it is in your best interest to be proactive now before you are at risk of losing your housing. Please call 617-268-9610 or email us for help.
If your landlord has notified you, verbally or in writing, that you are being evicted, STAY PUT and call 617-268-9610 or email us for help. You do not have to leave.
South Boston Neighborhood Aid Network
Since the start of the pandemic, community members across South Boston have stepped up to form a growing team of volunteers. The South Boston Neighborhood Aid Network is a central place to find information and resources, and to connect neighbors in need with neighbors who can help. Click here to learn more.
The South Boston Neighborhood Aid Network is coordinated by South Boston NDC.
