Thank you for a great Taste event

What an awesome event! South Boston NDC's Taste of South Boston on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Artists for Humanity featured some of the neighborhood's top restaurants. The food was absolutely amazing! We are grateful to these restaurants, who made the Taste of South Boston an event to remember, and to our attendees, who supported our mission of affordable housing!

Attendees sampled culinary specialties from South Boston’s top restaurants, tasted beer, wine, and spirits, and enjoyed live music and outstanding silent auction items and raffles.

The following restaurants participated:

• Bamboo Beach Juice Bar, acai bowls

• Barking Crab, lobster rolls

• Capo, gelato

• Cafe Porto Bello, lobster ravioli and eggplant rollatini

• Fat Baby, crispy rice cakes (ahi tuna, ponzu, spicy mayo, tobiko)

• Hunter's Kitchen, award-winning gumbo

• KoKo Coffee, croissants, muffins, cappuccino

• Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant, blackened tuna tacos

• Loco, street corn

• Lucky’s Lounge, pork belly bao buns

• Para Maria at the Envoy Hotel, tuna tartar tostada

• Publico, beef tataki

• Rosa Mexicano, guacamole, ceviche

• Roza Lyons, lump crab cakes, lobster avocado & chicken lettuce wraps

• Shy Bird, SB Dunks chicken bites & mushroom toasts

• The Broadway, donut holes

• Temazcal Tequila Cantina, chicken tortilla soup, guacamole with tortilla chips

• Tony C’s, clam chowder with oyster crackers; potato chips with chipotle aioli

Al’s Liquors provided the wine; Castle Island Brewing Company provided the beer; and Diageo Brands and Viva Tequila Seltzer provided special cocktails!
